This house was designed and built about six years ago. It sits just east of the Southeast Light (a famous Block Island landmark), and has incredible views to the east over the Atlantic.

Block Island – Hurricane Bob brushes us
Hurricane Bob just barely brushed Block Island. This is a view from the beach below Mohegan Bluffs (on the south side of the island). Eight to ten foot waves, but not much wind.
Photography is a HDR from five exposures.
Summer program at the high school
Families in Chappaqua and the high school host a summer program for kids from the Bronx. They have classes on Shakespeare, computers, writing in the morning, then film school in the afternoon at the Jacob Burns center. Quite an opportunity for them.
